Where to start when planning a wedding?

I just got engaged! Happy Happy Happy! We have about a year to go and I was wondering if anyone had a tip or two on where to start when it comes to planning a wedding? Thanks

Just about every larger wedding website has free wedding planning timelines and checklists that outline what needs to be done and when it should be done. We also have a number of articles that address a variety of wedding planning topics plus wedding timelines and checklists. Just follow the "Articles" link at the top of the page and select the wedding planning article, timeline or checklist of interest. Regards, Kim

There are quite of few sample timelines and checklists that can be found at most of the major wedding web sites. I was looking at the wedding planning articles on this website (weddingplanning.com) and they have a ton of great information including articles on where to start (first steps) when it comes to planning your wedding plus timelines, checklists, etc. The link to the wedding planning articles is at the top of the page.
